NOTE:
If you live in a certain region of the World, Facebook may not be doing verification in your area but they will let you know when you try to verify your page. also, getting your page verified should be done on a laptop or desktop versus your mobile device and please understand that to get verified, your business phone number should be locally listed or have verifiable documents such as a business license or a utility bill with your business name as the customer.

Finally, if you are in Direct Sales, Affiliate or Multi-Level Marketing, you may not be able to get your page verified, due to the fact that you are an associate of the parent company you work with such as Mary Kay or Tupperware.  Check with your particular company for specifics.

That's it friends, the process is simple and easy and takes less than 8min and is definitely worth the time spent.  If you have any questions, just let me know.  I'm here to help.

I do not have this option on my FB business page...is it because the page is older or is this because of the last FB update? I am trying to follow the information and it is not giving me the information to verify my page...I do not have a check mark next to my business name.....could it be because I am a DS person? I sell Avon so I can not use Avon in my name so I can not BRAND it.

Hi Daniela. The age of your page should not matter in the verification process. If you have your business phone number listed locally or have a business license or a utility bill with your business name on it, that should allow you to get verified by Facebook.

There are some instances that depending on the region of the World you live in, Facebook may not be doing verifications in that particular area at that time but they will notifiy you if that's the case.

Being in Direct Sales is a tricky one too especially if it is done mainly online and there not being a physical address for your business but again, Facebook would inform you if that's the case.

One more thing. To get to the verified setting, the process should be done on a laptop or desktop versus a mobile device.

I hope I was able to answer your questions. Let me know if this helped. Happy Holidays.
